In this admission period, Cau Giay Secondary School maintains the same 440 enrollment targets as in 2024, but the admission method has changed. Candidates must take a competency assessment test consisting of 3 subjects: math, Vietnamese and English.

The test is in a multiple-choice and essay format, with content mainly covering the 5th grade curriculum of the 2018 GeneralEducation Program. Each test lasts 45 minutes, on a 10-point scale, rounded to the second decimal place. The admission score is the total score of the 3 competency assessment tests plus priority points, if any.'

Notably, the priority points are not for candidates with outstanding achievements in study, sports , and talents, but only for policy subjects. The minimum bonus point is 1 and the maximum is 2.
