Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi), on September 27, many schools in the mountainous areas of Da Nang City, which are often at risk of flash floods and landslides, proactively developed response plans, with the highest goal of ensuring absolute safety for students.

Over the past few days, heavy rains have been reported in the mountainous areas of Da Nang City. At Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Tra Doc Commune), where more than 719 students study and live, the Board of Directors has asked all students to stay in school and not return home during the prolonged rain and floods.

According to Mr. Tam, the school also arranged 100% of teachers to be on duty to manage and monitor students; and continuously take attendance to prevent students from leaving school without permission. Items such as computer rooms, rice warehouses, and teaching equipment are covered with tarpaulins to minimize the risk of damage during prolonged rains and floods.
