Posthumously awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal and the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to Major and martyr Nguyen Dang Khai

President Luong Cuong posthumously awarded the First Class Military Exploit Medal to Major Nguyen Dang Khai.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 794/QD-TTg on granting the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to Major Nguyen Dang Khai, who sacrificed his life while performing his duty to fight and arrest criminals of illegal drug trafficking.

The Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also issued Decision No. 1415-QD/TWĐTN-VP dated April 18, 2025 on posthumously awarding the "Brave Youth" Badge to Martyr Major Nguyen Dang Khai.

Earlier, on the same morning, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote the rank of Senior Lieutenant to Major (promotion beyond the rank level), starting from April 17, 2025 for officer Nguyen Dang Khai (born in 1996).

These are very quick and timely decisions on regimes and policies by the leaders of the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security to acknowledge the sense of responsibility, steadfast and uncompromising fight against drug crimes and brave sacrifice to protect the peaceful life of the people of Major Nguyen Dang Khai, partly sharing the great losses of his family.
