This event is organized by the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Promotion Organization (VJCP) in collaboration with Vietnamese associations and communities in the Kansai region to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. The event is sponsored by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka and the Higashi Osaka City Government.

The closing art program of the Festival had the participation of many artists from Vietnam and Japan, especially divo Tung Duong and two singers Isaac and Duyen Quynh.

As soon as he appeared at the event, Tung Duong was warmly welcomed by Vietnamese audiences in Japan. Young people lined up to ask for his autograph and take photos with him. Tung Duong's name was chanted enthusiastically every time he appeared on stage.

Tung Duong opened the program with the National Anthem, making the whole space quiet in solemnity and pride. Thousands of spectators - from children to the elderly, from the Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha - to workers and international students - stood up, hands placed on their left chests, facing the stage where Tung Duong stood.

Amidst the brilliant space of flags and flowers, with red flags with yellow stars fluttering in the hands of Vietnamese people in Japan, the heroic and majestic singing of the "National Anthem" resounded in the heart of Japan like a call from the homeland, like the common beat of thousands of hearts turning towards the motherland, urging everyone to join in.

Tung Duong shared: “Singing the National Anthem in Japan was a special moment, an indescribable feeling. I am happy to sing among the red flags with yellow stars and Vietnamese people far from home but always looking towards the Fatherland”. After the National Anthem, Tung Duong continued to lead the audience’s emotions with The Road We Go, Rebirth, A Round of Vietnam, Above the Floor, Aspiration of Youth. Each song Tung Duong sang was a wave of emotion, making the audience not only sing along but also cry, bursting with pride and nostalgia for their homeland.

Singer Duyen Quynh came to Japan for the first time and performed the song "Continuing the story of peace" . She shared: "When standing on the Japanese stage singing about Vietnam, looking at thousands of red flags with yellow stars flying, I felt a surge of national pride. Here, I clearly felt the spirit of solidarity, love and admiration for the strength of our overseas compatriots."

Singer Isaac also expressed that this was one of the most meaningful performance moments in his career. ''When the flags were raised, emotions exploded. I think the Vietnamese spirit in that moment was so beautiful,'' the male singer shared.

Present at the Festival “Vietnam’s Heart – 50 Years of Beating Together”, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang – Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam said: During the days of celebrating the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day on April 30 and looking forward to the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, he felt extremely proud and excited to be able to turn to his homeland and compatriots in a place far away from Vietnam but feeling like he was in his own country. “The Festival is an opportunity to introduce Vietnamese people, culture, art, cuisine… We strive together, each Vietnamese citizen here is an ambassador of culture and tourism, bringing beautiful images of Vietnam, contributing to strengthening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan”, he said.
