Commending 82 exemplary officials of the Vietnam Youth Union

On October 14, in Thai Nguyen province, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) celebrated the 67th anniversary of its Traditional Day (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2023) and awarded the October 15 Award to 82 outstanding union officials in 2023.

At the ceremony, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union called on each cadre, member, and youth to strive to continue the glorious tradition of the union and Vietnamese youth, through continuous efforts in studying, working creatively, and defending the Fatherland.

Representing 13,000 union officials nationwide, the 82 outstanding union officials honored this year are those with many initiatives, gathering a large number of members to participate in youth movement activities.

Many union officials have mobilized social capital to build many social security projects in the area, such as Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Thuong (Tay ethnic group), President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Dai Minh commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province, with dozens of projects worth billions of dong.

* On the same day, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held an incense offering ceremony at the historical site of the Vietnam Youth Volunteer Monument; visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged students; inaugurated a youth project of 300 trees in the area; launched the 13th stage of the program "Steps for the Community" to contribute funds to build and repair community cultural houses for ethnic minorities with less than 10,000 people...
