VND/USD exchange rate stable in the free market

On the morning of May 7, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of 1 US Dollar (USD) = 24,930 Vietnamese Dong (VND), a slight decrease of 8 VND compared to the previous day.

With a trading band of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is determined to be 26,177 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate is 23,684 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is currently 23,734 - 26,126 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At Vietcombank , the updated exchange rate this morning is 25,750 - 26,140 (buy - sell), down 10 VND for both buying and selling compared to the previous day.

At BIDV bank, the second updated exchange rate this morning is 25,780 - 26,140 (buy - sell), down 10 VND similar to Vietcombank.

The two-way buying and selling rates at VietinBank are 25,787 - 26,147, an increase of 157 VND for buying and 7 VND for selling.

Meanwhile, on the free market on the morning of May 7, the USD/VND exchange rate was trading around 26,430 - 26,530 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session.
