The Pomeranian dog farm of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khang in Binh Thuy district ( Can Tho city) provides purebred, quality dogs to customers, helping the owner earn billions of dong each year.

The farm of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khang (35 years old) has an area of ​​about 600 m2, including 4 rooms and a playground for dogs.

A Pomeranian with yellow and black fur was imported by Mr. Khang, a billionaire dog breeder in Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city, for 300 million VND for breeding.

According to Mr. Khang, not long ago, his family raised 2 Pomeranian dogs and found that this breed was very friendly, sociable with pets in the house and had a beautiful face, so he really liked it.

So in 2018, Mr. Khang decided to go to Thailand and Russia to learn how to breed, care for, and train.

After returning home, Mr. Khang opened a Pomeranian farm. Mr. Khang imported 20 puppies from Thailand, Europe and Russia for billions of dong and bred them together to create a Pomeranian breed with outstanding advantages.

Pomeranian dogs are raised in cold rooms with temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius or lower to have thick and beautiful fur.

"The Pom dogs at my kennel have "pedigree" papers and meet the standards of the International Kennel Association. According to regulations, Pom dogs must be purebred, adult dogs must not weigh more than 3.5 kg, and be 25 cm or less in height," said Mr. Khang.

Raising and caring for this breed of dog is very elaborate. Pomeranians must be kept in a cold room all day and night with a room temperature lower than 22 degrees Celsius, and only allowed to go out to the yard for 15-20 minutes each day.

This breed of dog gives birth to 1-3 puppies at a time. The puppies weigh an average of 100-150 grams and are raised for about 2.5-3 months. Dogs that weigh 1 kg or more can be sold.

Every year, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khang's dog farm sells 80-100 Pomeranian dogs to customers in the North, Dak Lak , Ho Chi Minh City..., and even exports them to the Philippines and the US.

With the selling price of Pom dogs ranging from 30 million to 120 million VND/dog, Mr. Khang earns 2-3 billion VND per year.
