At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the decision to establish Cao Bang Newspaper and decisions on personnel work.

Accordingly, the leaders of Cao Bang province signed decisions to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Sam Viet An, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work and assign and appoint the position of Editor-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper.

Comrade Bui Dinh Trung, Director of Cao Bang Provincial Radio and Television Station, came to work and was appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper.

Also according to the decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, comrade La Van Huyen, Deputy Director of Cao Bang Provincial Radio and Television Station, holds the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper.

Thus, along with 3 comrades who were mobilized, assigned, and appointed to hold positions at Cao Bang Newspaper, 2 comrades Hoang Van Trong and Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper, continued to be reappointed to hold the position of Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, praised the two (former) agencies Cao Bang Newspaper and Cao Bang Provincial Radio and Television Station for completing their assigned tasks very well in the past time.

Emphasizing the merger of the two units to effectively implement the central government's policy on streamlining and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the apparatus, comrade Quan Minh Cuong requested Cao Bang Newspaper to continue to comprehensively innovate, constantly improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work to create understanding and consensus in performing all local tasks.

The Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary also directed Cao Bang Newspaper to continue to promote the role of the post-merger multimedia communication complex, to propagate and fully, accurately and comprehensively reflect the thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people.

Cao Bang Newspaper continues to perform well its propaganda tasks to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation; promptly propagate and fight against false propaganda arguments of hostile forces.
