Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh presented a souvenir to Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

A representative of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company said: Since July 2009, Acecook has launched the Hang Nga Vermicelli brand with many typical regional vermicelli flavors, notably the product "Hang Nga Vermicelli - Hue Beef Vermicelli Flavor".

On June 27, 2025, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision No. 2203/QD-BVHTTDL to include "Folk knowledge of Bun Bo Hue" in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage. After this event, Acecook paid special attention to the production and business activities of the brand "Bun Hang Nga - Flavor of Bun Bo Hue", ensuring compliance with regulations on intellectual property, certification marks and product origin.

Acecook proposes that the People's Committee of Hue City consider and grant a license (or written consent) to the company to use the name "Bun Bo Hue" on its products. The company is willing to sign an agreement or comply with the conditions set by the People's Committee of Hue City to ensure that the use of this name complies with the criteria of quality, flavor and transparency. The company also wishes to share its orientation and plan to turn the product into a channel to promote Hue culinary culture to domestic and foreign consumers, as well as to link with local tourism development.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized: Bun bo Hue is a dish that embodies the culinary quintessence of the ancient capital, with both cultural value and great economic and tourism potential. The city welcomes businesses like Acecook to join hands in preserving and promoting this brand, but the exploitation must strictly comply with regulations on cultural heritage, quality and origin.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh said: "Hue is gradually affirming its position as the Culinary Capital of Vietnam, aiming to become a unique destination in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. We hope that traditional dishes, especially Bun Bo Hue, will not only be preserved but also enhance their brand and spread strongly to domestic and foreign tourists. The city will accompany businesses in promotional programs, linking tourism and cuisine, to create a complete experience for visitors when coming to Hue. The local government is always ready to accompany and create favorable conditions for Acecook Vietnam as well as other businesses to invest, cooperate and develop in Hue, contributing to promoting cuisine and enhancing the economic and cultural value of the locality."
