Born and raised in a rural area with many difficulties and shortages, he always actively participated in movement activities, training courses organized by the village and commune, and especially participated in the New Rural Development programs on household economic development. Through propaganda and implementation conferences on economic development, he realized that his family's land fund could develop livestock farming, so he discussed with his family to set aside a part of the land to build a barn for livestock farming. At first, with limited capital, he only raised 2 local sows. Due to lack of experience in raising, caring for, and feeding pigs, combined with lack of necessary equipment and supplies, along with prolonged cold weather and lack of domestic water, the livestock farming model encountered many difficulties in the early years. Although it was difficult, with great determination, he researched and learned from other local livestock farms and attended livestock training courses in the commune to gain more knowledge.
By 2017, when he had accumulated the necessary experience and a certain amount of capital, he continued to invest in maintaining the raising of 5 sows and 10 pigs. Up to now, his family has 10 breeding sows, so the pig herd is growing, each year selling more than 100 breeding pigs and 30 pigs with an annual income of over 100 million VND. In addition, his family converted the corn-growing land area to specialized vegetable cultivation, both taking advantage of products for livestock and providing vegetables to schools in the commune, earning over 20 million VND from vegetables each year. He shared: "Although this is the first step in starting a business, I am very happy that what I do helps improve my family's income and quality of life, contributing to building a new countryside".
In addition to actively developing the family economy, he always upholds his responsibility to the village, regularly participating in activities directed and initiated by the village. From his experience, he participates in guiding and mobilizing 5 families in the village to develop a sow farming model to improve the family economy... In particular, he propagates and mobilizes families, brothers and people to build a civilized lifestyle, creating motivation for the stability and development of the locality.
