Vietlott lottery ticket "explodes" Jackpot 1 prize of over 48.5 billion VND

(NLDO) - A Power 6/55 lottery ticket of Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) won Jackpot 1 prize in the drawing on January 14.

Information from Vietlott said that at the drawing session held at the end of January 14, the company determined that 1 Power 6/55 lottery ticket won the Jackpot 1 prize worth more than 48.5 billion VND.

The lucky lottery ticket has 6 pairs of numbers 11-03-33-40-12-24 matching the result of Jackpot 1 prize.

According to the "rules of the game", the owner of the Jackpot 1 prize must pay 10% personal income tax (about 4.8 billion VND).

Mr. Pham Quang Huy, Deputy General Director of Vietlott, said that in 2024, the company will achieve ticket sales revenue of more than VND 7,915 billion, an increase of 25% compared to 2023, contributing nearly VND 2,100 billion to the state budget.

With 55% of revenue for prize payment, in 2024, Vietlott will pay more than 4,260 billion VND for more than 23.4 million winning tickets. Of which, the matrix lottery products (Mega 6/45, Power 6/55) have 98 Jackpot winning tickets; the series lottery products (Max 3D/3D+, Max 3D Pro) have 53 special prize winning tickets.
