Why can't Garnacho leave Man Utd like Rashford?

(Dan Tri) - Marcus Rashford has successfully defected from Man Utd to join Aston Villa on loan. However, Garnacho remains at Old Trafford, despite the news that he will leave the club.

Napoli are the team most interested in the Argentine star. They want to recruit Garnacho to fill the gap left by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who moved to PSG for 70 million euros.

However, Napoli failed to reach an agreement with Man Utd. Sharing with the press, Napoli Director Giovanni Manna said: "We have sent an offer to Man Utd about the Garnacho deal. Napoli really wants to have this player's signature.

However, we could not reach an agreement with Man Utd on this deal. He asked for a very high salary to leave in January. We need to respect our players."

Garnacho's current salary at Man Utd is only around £50,000 a week. This is not a salary beyond Napoli's reach. However, this player asked for a higher salary when joining the Italian team, especially when he moved to replace Napoli's number 1 star, Kvaratskhelia.

Coach Ruben Amorim was delighted that Garnacho could not move to Napoli. He had expressed hope that the player would stay to compete for a position at Man Utd.
