Vi Xuyen speeds up the progress of removing temporary houses, to be completed before April 30

BHG - Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, Vi Xuyen district has started construction of 182/182 houses for poor and near-poor households in the area; of which, 177 new houses were built and 5 houses were repaired. To date, 162 houses have been completed and put into use, reaching over 89% of the plan, the remaining houses under construction reached over 80% of the volume. 100% of the funding to support housing construction has been disbursed to communes and towns, and handed over to the people. The whole district mobilized over 8,800 working days to support households in building houses.

Leaders of Viet Lam town (Vi Xuyen) presented funds and gifts to support Then Thi Phuong's family in My village after completing the construction of their house.

With the goal of all households having new houses before April 30, in order to practically celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Vi Xuyen district is actively urging households to speed up the implementation progress. Localities continue to mobilize resources and working days to support people in building and completing ancillary works such as: kitchens, bathrooms, toilets; completing settlement records in accordance with regulations; strengthening inspection and supervision to ensure construction quality; supporting and guiding households in completing procedures for granting land use right certificates in accordance with regulations.
