[Video] Arranging official house and car for leading scientists

NDO - The Ministry of Science and Technology has just proposed a policy to arrange official housing and transportation for leading scientists and chief engineers during their duties. This is considered a decisive step for the State to attract and retain talent, especially in key areas such as artificial intelligence and training high-quality human resources.

The Draft Law on Science, Technology and Innovation drafted by the Ministry of Science and Technology clearly states: leading scientists, chief engineers and engineers in charge of especially important tasks will receive special preferential salaries and allowances.

In addition, the Draft also proposes preferential policies for foreign experts and overseas Vietnamese with outstanding achievements. Foreign experts in Vietnam's priority development fields will be considered for preferential treatment in terms of entry, exit, residence and work permits.

With new policies on income and housing, the Ministry of Science and Technology hopes to attract overseas Vietnamese and highly qualified foreigners to work and live in Vietnam.
