NDO - The Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) has just issued an official dispatch requesting Shopee Company Limited and Lazada Vietnam E-commerce Company Limited to manage the business activities of functional foods (FF) in the e-commerce environment.

The Food Safety Department has discovered that some products such as Omega 3-6-9 1600mg, Natto Kinase 4000fu, Estroven - Complete Multi - Sympton, Kirkland Glucosamine 1500mg & Chondroitin 1200mg, Glucosamine 1500mg With MSM 1500mg are being advertised and sold on both e-commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada without being granted a certificate of product declaration registration.

In order to ensure the health and rights of users as well as the production and trading of functional foods in compliance with the law, on May 26, the Department of Food Safety issued official dispatches requesting these two e-commerce companies to urgently review all business activities and electronic transactions of functional food products.
