On the evening of September 21, Becamex TP.HCM faced Ho Chi Minh City Police Club at Go Dau Stadium within the framework of round 4 of V-League 2025-2026.

Captain of Ho Chi Minh City Police Club, Nguyen Tien Linh had his first reunion with his old team Becamex Ho Chi Minh City.

After the opening whistle, both teams showed their determination. However, after only the first 7 minutes of the match, Tien Linh scored the opening goal 1-0 for the HCM City Police Club.

From a sideline attack, a player from the HCM City Police Club made an accurate cross for Tien Linh to jump high and head in to open the scoring. Notably, after scoring, Tien Linh clasped his hands and signaled not to celebrate to show his gratitude to his former team.

After taking the lead, coach Le Huynh Duc's team proactively pushed up their formation and deployed their playing style. However, neither team scored any more goals in the first half.

In the second half, Becamex TP.HCM scored 1 goal and Cong An TP.HCM scored 2 more goals. In the end, Cong An TP.HCM won with a score of 3-1 against Becamex TP.HCM.
