Vo Viet Phuong and family
Giving up his dream of studying in the US, despite having a scholarship to stay in Vietnam to pursue art, Vo Viet Phuong confided: "I chose to stay in Vietnam to pursue an artistic path. I think everything that happens has its reasons. If I had gone to the US, I probably wouldn't have been able to make music, wouldn't have been able to pursue my dream. I'm happy and grateful for the exciting years of my youth when I was able to study and live my dream."
