(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Four days after being assaulted by a man, D.NAK, a 7th-grade student in Binh Dinh, is hospitalized for treatment. K.'s health has temporarily stabilized, but she still experiences aches and pains, and wakes up startled when she closes her eyes to sleep.
On January 8th, Dr. Vo Thanh Nam Binh, Deputy Director of Binh Dinh Provincial General Hospital, stated that patient D.NAK (13 years old, from Nhon Hoi commune, Quy Nhon city, a 7th-grade student who was beaten by a man on the evening of January 4th) is currently being monitored and treated in the Pediatric Department of the hospital.
Dr. Binh said that after being admitted to the hospital, K. was examined and had an MRI scan of the head. The MRI results showed that K.'s head was not injured, and the general body aches and pains were due to a strong concussion.

The camera recorded Mr. V. beating the boy inside the restaurant, then dragging the child out onto the street to continue the beating (Screenshot).
Ms. Vân (K.'s maternal aunt), who is taking care of her niece at the hospital, shared: "K. has a slight scratch on her head, her head still hurts, and she wakes up startled when she closes her eyes to sleep. Yesterday, she vomited after eating, so the family is very worried."
According to Ms. Vân, K.'s biological mother, who is currently working in Japan, was very upset and heartbroken upon hearing the news.
"For the past few days, my mother has been crying constantly, skipping meals and going to work. After assaulting K., Mr. V. came to our house to apologize, but we were so upset that we reported the incident to the authorities," Ms. Vân added.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thoi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Hoi commune (Quy Nhon city), said that the commune police had transferred the case file of Mr. N.D.V. (42 years old) assaulting a 13-year-old boy to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Quy Nhon City Police.
According to Mr. Thoi, after working with the local authorities, Mr. V. expressed remorse for causing the incident.
Lawyer Vo Hong Nam, from the Binh Dinh Provincial Bar Association, stated that, according to the provisions of Article 134 of the Penal Code, in the case shown in the video , the man committed an act of assault causing injury to the child.
If the child is under 16 years old and the medical examination concludes that the injury rate is over 1%, this man could be prosecuted for intentionally causing injury under Article 134 of the Penal Code.
As reported by Dan Tri newspaper , at 8:34 PM on January 4th, a young boy was playing with a group of friends at a snack shop in the area. Suddenly, a man on a motorbike, without a helmet, sped up and repeatedly hit the boy on the head with his hands, giving the victim no time to react.
Not stopping there, this person carried the child out onto the street and continued to punch and kick him, even though the child begged and tried to run away.
The images were subsequently shared on social media, causing widespread public outrage.
