As reported by SGGP, on May 7, Cho Ray Hospital received and treated a 10-year-old patient who had an accident caused by a tree branch falling on him after a heavy rain. The patient underwent a CT scan, and a consultation between the Diagnostic Imaging, Neurosurgery and ENT departments showed that the child had subarachnoid hemorrhage, scattered brain contusions, diffuse cerebral edema and skull fractures. The TNPD patient was transferred to the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Department in a state of mechanical ventilation via endotracheal intubation, with 2mm pupils on both sides and weak light reflex, and is still receiving medical treatment.
