Coinciding with White Valentine's Day on March 14th, singers Vu and Ha Anh Tuan officially released the music video "Dành hết xuân thì để chờ nhau" (Springtime Delayed Waiting for Each Other ). This is the next collaboration after " Những lời hứa bỏ quên" (Forgotten Promises ), which was a sensation at the end of last year, by Vu and the band Dear Jane. This is also the second single paving the way for his upcoming studio album.
" Spending My Youth Waiting for Each Other " is a poignant and deeply moving ballad – a strength of both singers. The song as a whole resonates with the captivating interplay of their voices , highlighting their warm, rich , and somewhat experienced tones. The lyrics are filled with beautiful emotions interwoven with memories of a youthful love.
Sharing his thoughts on the song's concept, Vu said: "Usually, things we can't have, things left unfinished, are remembered longer. That's why unrequited love is a special emotion I want to convey in this song: the feeling of uncertainty, always in a state of limbo, wondering how long I should wait and what will happen if I do wait long enough."
Vũ also shared more about Hà Anh Tuấn's vocal contribution to the song: "Emotions are very personal, but I think many people will empathize. That's why the song includes Hà Anh Tuấn's vocals, making it feel like a dialogue. Hopefully, it will help people easily feel the reflections and heartfelt sharing of these two men about this special emotion."
The recording of the song was post-produced by the same foreign production team, ensuring the sound quality for the upcoming third studio album.
One of the most special aspects of this project is that, for the first time in six years, Ha Anh Tuan accepted an invitation to appear in a music video.
Revealing how he convinced Ha Anh Tuan, Vu recounted that when he sent the demo of " Dành hết xuân thì để chờ nhau " and expressed , " This is a song I just finished writing, I really hope you can sing it with me , " Ha Anh Tuan showed his liking for the meaning behind the song and agreed.
