On the morning of January 9, Vu Thu District Culture and Sports Center held a conference to summarize cultural and sports activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the District Cultural - Sports Center coordinated well in implementing propaganda work to serve the political tasks and socio-economic development of the province and the district. Propaganda, agitation, cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports were carried out well, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people. The Center chaired and coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the District Labor Federation and relevant agencies and units to successfully organize sports tournaments in the district, selecting athletes to train the team to participate in the provincial tournament with high results. Notably, the Vu Thu district children's football team won the first prize in Thai Binh province's children's football in 2024. Currently, the whole district has 573 cultural, artistic and physical education clubs with over 16,000 participants.

In 2025, the Center will continue to coordinate and effectively implement the propaganda work on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the political tasks of the province and district. Build and develop the system of communal, village, residential group libraries, clan and family bookcases. Advise on the development of competition plans, organize district sports tournaments and help the grassroots organize sports tournaments in the program of sports festivals at all levels towards the 10th National Sports Festival in 2026. Select athletes to form teams, train to participate in provincial sports competitions...

On this occasion, 10 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024 were commended and rewarded.
