Exciting 1st Phu Xuyen Commune Sports Festival

On October 25, the People's Committee of Phu Xuyen commune held the opening ceremony of the 1st Sports Festival - 2025 and a parade to show off force.

The parade to show off force at the 1st Phu Xuyen Commune Sports Festival had the participation of more than 2,000 delegates, athletes, referees and 30 ceremonial, concert, parade and force demonstration groups.

Before the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee organized 8 competitions: Athletics, football, badminton, volleyball, chess, tug of war, sack race.

The opening ceremony was solemnly held with many rituals: Parade to show off forces, torch-lighting ceremony - traditional fire, flag salute, announcement of reasons, introduction of delegates, opening speech, athlete promise, referee oath, dove release...

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Vice Chairwoman of Phu Xuyen Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong said that in recent years, the mass physical training and sports movement in Phu Xuyen Commune has been increasingly developed, facilities have been invested, and the rate of people participating in regular sports has been increasing.

The first Phu Xuyen Commune Sports Festival is a big festival for the whole commune, not only contributing to improving health, training willpower, educating personality for the young generation, but also an opportunity for people, union members, youth to exchange, strengthen solidarity, build a healthy cultural life, towards the goal of building a rich and civilized Phu Xuyen.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded souvenir flags to the participating groups in the parade and performance; and commended 10 groups and 26 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the sports festival.

With the participation of more than 2,000 cadres, members, union members and outstanding youth, the 2025 Phu Xuyen Commune Sports Festival became a special sports event, affirming the determination of the local Party Committee, government and people in developing the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

Right after the parade were special performances by the clubs: Elderly, traditional martial arts of Phu Minh Secondary School.
