Joyful 'National Unity Day' in Dong Duong coastal town

QTO - On the afternoon of November 8, Dong Duong residential group (Dong Hoi ward) organized a "National Great Unity Day" in the residential area. Attending were comrade Pham Thi Han, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Dong Hoi ward Party Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and localities.

Located on the Nhat Le beach, Dong Duong residential area has over 380 households with nearly 1,600 people, divided into 12 clusters. The appearance of Dong Duong residential area changes every day, people's lives improve, average income is 70-80 million VND/person/year, there are no more poor or near-poor households.

Along with socio-economic development, TDP has launched many practical and effective models, such as: "Poverty reduction with address", "Good production and business", "Red flag road", "Old age, bright example", "Comradely affection"... to promote the potential, creativity and voluntary spirit of union members, association members and people of all walks of life, contributing to creating solidarity in coastal communities.

Speaking at the festival, Secretary of the Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee Pham Thi Han acknowledged the sense of responsibility of organizations and unions in the residential area who have actively focused on directing and guiding people to develop socio-economy, care for material and spiritual life, and improve the lives of people; at the same time, commended the large participation of people in the festival.

Thereby, contributing to tightening the neighborly relationship; strengthening, consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; being an opportunity to share and encourage households in difficulty; praising typical examples of implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in the community.

The Secretary of the Dong Hoi Ward Party Committee hopes that people will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; especially carry out the campaign "All people unite, build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the new period associated with the work of social supervision and criticism and participate in giving opinions to build the Party, government, and build a clean and strong political system, together building a rich and civilized homeland.
