Navy Region 3 supplies food to people in flood-hit areas

DNO - On October 29, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 coordinated with localities to supply food to isolated households in deeply flooded areas.

Immediately after arriving at the flood-affected areas, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 quickly coordinated with local authorities to classify and package necessities including instant noodles, bread, dry food, drinking water, etc. to transport and deliver directly to isolated households.

In Thanh Nam residential group (Hoi An ward) and Phu Xuan 2, 3 villages (Hoa Tien commune), the weather situation is still very complicated. The flood water level is over 3m in some places, flowing rapidly, making it difficult for people to access.

The relief force had to use small boats to transport the goods, then hand them over to the head of the residential group to continue delivering them to each household in the key area, ensuring that no one would go hungry or cold.
