Since the beginning of April 2025, the hot weather has lasted for a long time and increased compared to the previous month, the special-use forests have begun to dry up, so there is a very high risk of forest fires (level III). At the same time, on the dykes and traffic routes in the special-use forests of U Minh Thuong National Park, there are many flammable materials and are at a dangerous level (level IV), which will continue to increase in the coming time. Therefore, U Minh Thuong National Park will close and temporarily suspend service activities to ensure forest fire prevention and control in the dry season of 2025.
