Long Phieng Commune organized the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune level, term 2025 - 2030

(sonla.gov.vn) On October 21, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phieng commune solemnly held the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates of the commune, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Giang Thi Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province; Comrade Vi Tuan Bao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Long Phieng commune. Also attending were leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee; departments, branches, mass organizations of the commune and 63 typical delegates representing all classes of people in the area.

During the past term, the work of the Long Phieng Commune Front has achieved many outstanding results, effectively promoting the great national unity bloc, mobilizing the people to actively respond to patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Solidarity, creativity, and homeland development". The Commune Front has played a good role as a bridge between the people and the Party and the government, making an important contribution to socio- economic development and maintaining national defense and security in the locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Giang Thi Huong praised the results achieved by the Commune Front in the past term, and at the same time suggested that in the new term, the Commune Front continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; further promote the strength of the great national unity bloc; strengthen social supervision and criticism; build a strong Front organization to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

The Congress consulted and elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phieng commune, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 63 members; Comrade Tran Sy Hung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Phieng commune, term 2025 - 2030.
