Muong Bo Commune started construction of the project to welcome the 1st Commune Party Congress

On the morning of August 8, the People's Committee of Muong Bo commune coordinated with the Lao Cai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the project: Renovation and upgrading of Provincial Road 152B, Thanh Phu - Nam Cang section (from Km0 to Km13).

This is a key project to welcome the 1st Congress of Muong Bo Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

The route is designed according to the standards of a grade V mountain road, the width of the roadbed and road surface is 6.5m, including the reinforced shoulder as the road surface structure. The project has a drainage system and protective works invested synchronously, ensuring technical requirements. The total investment of the project is 78 billion VND from the provincial budget.

To ensure project progress, Muong Bo commune has established a steering committee and working group to assist in site clearance.

The Steering Committee is responsible for leading and directing the entire implementation process; organizing inspections and monitoring the progress of site clearance work; promptly handling problems and ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.

Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the contractor will proceed with construction as planned.

The working group is responsible for coordinating with relevant units to propagate and mobilize people to comply with compensation, support and resettlement policies; proactively grasp the situation and resolve arising issues at the grassroots level, in order to speed up the progress of site clearance and hand over the site to the investor to implement the project according to the set plan.

The project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 152B, Thanh Phu - Nam Cang section (from Km0 to Km13) after completion will connect communes in the Southwest region of Lao Cai province, promote community tourism development, preserve cultural and natural values, create favorable conditions for trade, improve people's lives and gradually complete the infrastructure of Muong Bo commune in a modern and sustainable direction.
