The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 141/KH-UBND on implementing tasks in 2025 to implement the Project "Developing tourism in Binh Phuoc province for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030".
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee proposed 7 implementation contents. Specifically: Continue to propagate and raise awareness of organizations, individuals and people about the significance of tourism development associated with introducing and promoting the potential, advantages and image of Binh Phuoc tourism on media channels and newspapers inside and outside the province. Review and adjust according to regulations (if any) construction planning, urban planning associated with tourism development planning according to Binh Phuoc Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Building unique and distinctive tourism products of Binh Phuoc province, including: Continuing to implement the herbal resort tourism model of the M'nong and Stieng ethnic groups in the buffer zone of Bu Gia Map National Park associated with developing forest ecotourism at the provincial tourist area of Bu Gia Map National Park (the task in 2023 has not been implemented yet, it will continue to be implemented in 2025) and building the model of "Traditional cashew culture space" at My Le Ecotourism Area. Completing the project on developing ecotourism in Bu Gia Map National Park for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2040. Implementing tasks of managing, developing and improving the economic efficiency of forests associated with tourism development in the province.
Developing tourist areas and spots: Guide organizations and individuals with tourism resources (Vinh Phuc Service Production and Business Joint Stock Company, Special National Monument Site of the Southern Vietnam Liberation Army Command, Van Thanh Buddhist Temple...) to complete the dossier for recognition of tourist areas and spots according to regulations.
Continue to implement extracurricular activities, sightseeing and learning at historical sites, scenic spots, cultural works and museums in the province for educational institutions; at the same time, coordinate with the Department of Education and Training of provinces and cities in the Southeast region to implement tourism programs and "return to the source" activities in Binh Phuoc province.
Upgrade the Tourism Information Portal and smart tourism application on mobile devices. Build a virtual tourism map (update the latest information about destinations and tourism services to support tourists in looking up information when visiting the province). Organize training courses to improve skills and professional knowledge for staff, civil servants, and employees working in tourism, travel businesses, individuals managing tourist areas and destinations, and tour guides. |
The Provincial People's Committee requires that the implementation of tasks and solutions must be carried out synchronously, with a clear roadmap, and with high efficiency. At the same time, it assigns specific tasks to each agency and unit in implementing the plan, especially the agencies and units that are members of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee.
