Sleeper bus carrying 36 passengers burned down on Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway

A sleeper bus carrying 36 passengers was traveling on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway (through Ninh Thuan province) when it suddenly caught fire.

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 29, on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway (section through Phuoc Trung commune, Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province), a sleeper bus caught fire, causing panic among many passengers.

At that time, a sleeper bus with a license plate of Quang Nam province, driven by T.D.QP, was traveling on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao highway when it suddenly caught fire.

Upon discovering the incident, the bus driver quickly pulled over and shouted for the 36 passengers to get out of the vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured.

However, the passenger bus was engulfed in flames and burned down.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ninh Thuan Province mobilized 2 fire trucks and more than 10 soldiers to the scene to handle the incident.

The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
