Temporary operation time from 6:00 p.m. on April 28.
Specifically, intersection No. 1 (at Km0+700) - the intersection between the Project and the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway, this is the intersection that has been put into temporary operation and is the direct connection point between the two expressways Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong and Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City.
Intersection No. 2 (at Km3+420) - the intersection between the project and National Highway 1, this is a grade-separated intersection with a central roundabout, directly connecting to National Highway 1A - the main traffic axis between Ho Chi Minh City and the Western provinces. The intersection has 4 branches on/off the highway, along with a roundabout system to help regulate and change directions flexibly between directions.
Interchange No. 4 (at Km21+850) - the intersection between Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Nguyen Van Tao Street (Ho Chi Minh City), is the end point of the temporarily exploited section. The intersection is a grade-separated interchange, connecting with Nguyen Van Tao Street - the main axis of the South, leading to the center of Ho Chi Minh City or Hiep Phuoc Port area, Long Hau Industrial Park.

Intersection No. 7 (Km50+530) - Phuoc An Intersection (intersection between the project and the road to Phuoc An Port) is a grade-separated interchange with a central roundabout, allowing flexible navigation and direct connection between Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and Phuoc An Port area, Truong Chinh Street, Nhon Trach District and between Phuoc An - Nhon Trach Industrial Park and directions to National Highway 51 - Ho Chi Minh City via the expressway.
Intersection No. 8 (Km57+581) - the intersection between the project and National Highway 51 to Vung Tau is an intersection with a central roundabout, directly connecting Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway and National Highway 51 - a strategic traffic axis connecting Bien Hoa city - Ba Ria city - Vung Tau city, at the same time serving connections to industrial parks, ports and Long Thanh Airport in the future.
VEC also stipulates that vehicles that are eligible to circulate on the road are allowed to circulate on the highway, except for the following subjects: Specialized motorbikes with a design speed lower than the minimum speed prescribed for the highway, four-wheeled motorized passenger vehicles, four-wheeled motorized cargo vehicles, motorbikes, mopeds, vehicles similar to motorbikes, mopeds, rudimentary vehicles, pedestrians are not allowed to travel on the highway, except for people, road vehicles and equipment serving the management and maintenance of the highway.
Except for the first section of the route from Km0+000-Km3+420 (the section put into temporary operation on January 23, 2025), because the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project has not completed the intersection connecting to the project, only trucks ≤ 10 tons, passenger cars, and cars will continue to be allowed to participate in traffic; other means of transport serving the project, warranty, management, operation, exploitation and maintenance of the project and fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and salvage vehicles when necessary.
VEC notes that, with the regulations on vehicles allowed to circulate as above, trucks with a load capacity >10 tons traveling from Long Thanh to Ben Luc must turn right to the intersection with National Highway 1 at Km3+420.
VEC also adjusted the operating speed of the main route from Km0+000-Km3+420 from 60km/h to 100km/h and the minimum operating speed is 60km/h. The maximum operating speed of the Km3+420-Km16+600 and Km50+530-Km57+581 sections is 100km/h and the minimum operating speed is 60km/h. The maximum operating speed of the Km16+600-Km 21+850 sections is 80km/h and the minimum operating speed is 60km/h. On branch roads, the maximum operating speed is 50km/h; on some branches at intersections and some connecting roads, the maximum speed does not exceed 40km/h.
The investor of this highway also recommends a minimum safety distance of 35m for sections with a speed of 60km/h; 55m for sections with a speed greater than 60km/h and ≤ 80km/h; 70m for sections with a speed greater than 80m and ≤ 100km/h.
