Watch Chinese students show off their talent singing the Vietnamese song 'What's More Beautiful'

Impressive singing and speaking performances in Vietnamese were performed by foreign students at the Multinational Cultural Exchange Festival organized by the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, Hanoi University on October 31.

This is a large-scale annual playground to improve knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture, train scientific research capacity and create a multinational cultural experience environment for students inside and outside the school.

Within the framework of the festival, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, Hanoi University organized a Vietnamese Speaking Contest to create a playground for international students studying Vietnamese at the school to exchange and learn; to strengthen friendship and cultural exchange between Vietnam and other countries.

Through the preliminary round, the organizers found the 8 best candidates to enter the final round.

In the final round, the contestants went through two rounds: Talent and Eloquence. In the Talent round, foreign students showed off their singing and speaking skills in Vietnamese...

In the Eloquence round, contestants shared topics about Vietnamese culture, people or their own feelings about Vietnam.

"In today's integrated world , culture is the bridge between hearts and minds. Each dance, each song, each traditional costume not only shows the unique beauty of each country but also creates a colorful, vibrant picture right in the school space. Through these festivals and competitions, we feel tighter handshakes and clearer connections between international students from many countries around the world and between international students and Vietnamese students studying at the school," said Ms. Xuan.

Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice President of Hanoi University, hopes that the international cultural exchange festival as well as the Vietnamese Speaking Contest will not only help connect the university's international students together, giving them more interesting and memorable experiences in an international space, but also contribute to promoting Vietnamese culture to the world and bringing international cultures to Vietnam.
