Previously, following the direction of the Hanoi City Police Department, Tay Ho District Police deployed to grasp the situation on cyberspace and discovered that Mr. S.'s Facebook account had commented with untrue content about the incident that occurred at the headquarters of the People's Committees of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province in the early morning of June 11.

Based on the collected documents, Tay Ho District Police invited Mr. S. to the headquarters for questioning. At the police station, Mr. S. confessed to his violations and pledged not to speak or comment on unverified matters or provide false information.
Tay Ho District Police have drawn up an administrative violation record and issued a decision to fine Mr. S. for the act of "Sharing fabricated information causing panic among the people" as prescribed in Point d, Clause 1, Article 101 of Decree No. 15/2020/ND-CP dated February 3, 2020 (amended and supplemented by Decree No. 14/2022/ND-CP dated January 17, 2022 of the Government ) regulating administrative sanctions in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequencies, information technology and electronic transactions. The fine for Mr. S is 7.5 million VND.
