Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat ( Lam Dong ) was established on the basis of merging wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 of the old Da Lat City, with a natural area of 73.45 km 2 and a population of 103,178 people. At the Party Congress of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat held on July 30, Mr. Dang Duc Hiep, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, emphasized: "The orientation of the Party Committee is to build Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat into an urban area of tourism, services, resorts, a smart and modern ward; with special characteristics in terms of climate, natural landscape, historical culture and architectural heritage of national, regional and international level".
According to the leader of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, the locality has determined that it must continue to face difficulties and challenges intertwined with advantages and opportunities in mobilizing resources for investment in economic and technical infrastructure, attracting investment capital and high-quality human resources for the development of key economic sectors. Environmental protection and resource management are also important tasks of the locality.
In the coming years, the ward will strongly attract social resources to improve the quality of tourism services, invest in upgrading high-quality tourism infrastructure, gradually approaching world-class tourism products. Forming many new products, improving diversity and richness to prolong the length of stay, increase the spending of tourists. Especially building a civilized and friendly tourism environment associated with the style of Da Lat people "gentle, elegant, hospitable ".

The leader of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat said that according to the plan, by 2030, the proportion of the trade and service industry will account for over 90% compared to the current 80 - 85%. By 2045, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat will be a modern service and tourism ward, a leading urban area promoting the province's economic development with the main growth drivers being services, tourism, digital economy, innovation, with a solid economic foundation, high competitiveness; people have income levels equivalent to those of developed countries.
Building a modern and civilized city
Talking to Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Dang Duc Hiep said that Xuan Huong Lake has always been considered the "heart" of Da Lat mountain town, but it needs to be renovated, urbanized, planted more trees, and designed the landscape of Xuan Huong Lake area to international standards. In the coming time, the ward will implement an artistic lighting project and exploit the parks around Xuan Huong Lake to both beautify the landscape and promote the development of the night economy.
Mr. Hiep added that in the ward there are many parks such as Yersin Park, Anh Sang Park, Tran Quoc Toan Park, Xuan Huong Park... but they have not been invested, exploited and used effectively. The upcoming plan is to expand Yersin Park phase 3 (the plan has been around for a long time - PV); call for investment in building and exploiting the underground floor of Anh Sang Park, and building Tran Quoc Toan Park.
To make Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat more modern and civilized, the ward will coordinate to call for investment in the project of landscape improvement in the central area of Hoa Binh according to the planning.
