Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi listened to departments and investors present the project progress.

The project is invested by the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 (DPM Board No. 2), implementing the construction of 8 new resettlement areas in the communes and wards: Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Luong Son, Ham Liem, Hong Son, Binh Thuan , Tan Lap and Ham Kiem.

Regarding the progress of compensation and site clearance, the project investor said that currently, the work of measuring and mapping cadastral maps in 8/8 communes and wards has completed the procedures for measuring and mapping cadastral maps and has been confirmed by the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Regarding the construction of specific land prices, 6/8 communes and wards (Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Luong Son, Hong Son, Binh Thuan, Tan Lap) have implemented it; only Ham Kiem and Ham Liem have not implemented it because the recovered land is under State management.

The land is planned to be used as a resettlement area in Ham Kiem commune, Lam Dong province to serve the North-South high-speed railway project.

Localities have organized meetings with people to inform them about investment policies, compensation, support and resettlement policies of the province; develop plans for land recovery, inventory and related procedures.

In Lam Dong province, there will be 8 resettlement areas to serve the North-South high-speed railway project.

At the field trip, Project Management Board No. 2 said that the unit has completed the procedures to prepare for project investment according to regulations for 7/8 resettlement areas in the communes: Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Luong Son, Ham Liem, Hong Son, Ham Kiem and Tan Lap communes, except for the resettlement area in Binh Thuan ward which has not been submitted for appraisal because the detailed planning of the 25ha Ham Hiep resettlement area has not been approved by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan ward.

On September 19, 2025, Project Management Board No. 2 submitted to the Department of Construction for appraisal the feasibility study report of the above-mentioned 7/7 resettlement areas. On October 3, 2025, the Department of Construction sent an Official Dispatch to Project Management Board No. 2, which included the contents of the dossier and construction design drawings of the 7 resettlement area projects that were basically completed. However, the appraisal results have not been issued yet and will continue to be implemented after receiving guidance from the Ministry of Construction... Currently, the Provincial People's Committee is reviewing and approving the project for the above-mentioned 7 resettlement areas.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested investors and relevant departments to proactively develop plans and deploy work soon.

Regarding the expected construction time, for resettlement areas, the expected start date is December 19, 2025, and for the resettlement area in Binh Thuan ward, the expected start date is February 1, 2026.

To ensure the construction time according to the expected progress of December 2025, Project Management Board No. 2 requests the Department of Construction to consider and advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the People's Committees of wards and communes to regularly inform households, create consensus among households to implement compensation and site clearance work smoothly and strictly manage land funds. Thereby, preventing illegal construction in resettlement areas to avoid complicated situations during the compensation and site clearance process...

Through information exchange at the field trip, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested the investor and relevant departments, branches and sectors to proactively develop plans, deploy work early, and find qualified and capable investors to implement the project.

On the same day, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi surveyed the area on both sides of Road 706B in Mui Ne Ward to orient infrastructure connection to serve urban and tourism development in the coming time.
