Request to stop operation of Phan Thiet City Waste Treatment Plant

Phan Thiet city waste treatment plant (Lam Dong province) has just been asked to stop operations to correct violations of environmental protection laws.

The authorities have just decided to stop all operations of the Phan Thiet Waste Treatment Plant (invested by Nhat Hoang Company Limited) for a period of 6 months.

Accordingly, all operations of the Phan Thiet Waste Treatment Plant are required to be suspended for 6 months, starting from July 1, 2025. The reason is to correct violations of environmental protection laws at the request of the state environmental management agency.

Nhat Hoang Company Limited is responsible for stopping the factory's operations and complying with the provisions of law until it is permitted by the competent authority to continue operations.

Phan Thiet City Waste Treatment Plant Project has a total investment of more than 495 billion VND, with an area of ​​about ^100,000m2 .

The project officially came into operation in October 2023. During its operation, the plant did not process 100% of its waste capacity.
