Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Executive Director of Vinexad 1 - said: The 21st Vietnam International Trade Fair (VIETNAM EXPO 2023) will be held from December 7-9, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 1,200 units representing 20 countries and territories.
“Of the total 1,600 booths on display at the largest scale ever, the proportion of domestic enterprises accounts for 65%, international enterprises account for 35%. This shows that Vietnam's production and trade are recovering strongly after the pandemic. Up to this point, Vietnam has prepared all conditions for the fair to take place successfully,” Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung informed.
In particular, the new point at this exhibition is that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Project (IPSC), supports 20 small and growing Vietnamese enterprises to participate in exhibiting booths to introduce products and services. These are enterprises that have received technical support through the market expansion and growth adaptation program provided by the IPSC project.
Through training activities, 1-1 consulting, business connections and support for participation in domestic and international exhibitions and fairs, IPSC's support programs aim to help small and growing businesses bring branded products to conquer international markets.
In addition to the booths of Vietnamese enterprises, there will be an international booth area. This area is always the center of attention at VIETNAM EXPO. This year, there will be 4 booths representing countries: China (1,000m2), India (200m2), Korea (500m2), Belarus (250m2).
“Each country will showcase a range of specialised products and services, adding a unique global perspective to the event,” said Nguyen Hong Nhung.
