1 worker fell from electric pole and died | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- The tragic accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on May 17 at the intersection of Nay Der and Hung Vuong streets (Pleiku City).

It is known that the victim is Mr. Nguyen Van T. (42 years old, residing in Dak Doa town, Dak Doa district), a worker participating in the construction project to expand Nay Der road (invested by the Pleiku City Construction Investment Project Management Board).

Accordingly, on the morning of May 17, he and the construction team were dismantling electric poles to widen Nay Der Street. While climbing the pole to remove the electric wire, Mr. T. lost his protective cable belt and fell from a height of 6 meters. Mr. T. was taken to Gia Lai General Hospital for emergency treatment but died later.

The family has now brought Mr. T. home for burial. The family did not request an autopsy because Mr. T.'s younger brother witnessed the accident.
