10 sports at the Phu Dien Ward Sports Festival

The 1st Phu Dien Ward Sports Festival in 2025 opened on October 25 with 10 competitions including: Tug of war, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, shuttlecock, chess, chess, sports dancing, and taekwondo.

The congress was attended by more than 700 athletes, representing 52 residential groups, agencies, units, schools, and armed forces in the ward.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the congress, Vice Chairman of Phu Dien Ward People's Committee Chu Viet Dung assessed that the 1st Sports Congress was a vivid picture of the ward's mass sports movement; demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, honesty, nobility and progress - the core values ​​that sports bring.

The Phu Dien Ward Sports Festival takes place from now until November 30, 2025. On the first day of competition in the tug of war, the first prize went to Newton Primary School, Phu Dien Secondary School won the second prize, and the third prize went to Phuc Dien Primary School and Phu Dien A Secondary School.
