The Cricket Children's Award was founded and organized annually by the Sports and Culture newspaper since 2020, to award outstanding artistic compositions and performances "by children" (children are the creative subjects) or "for children" (children are the service objects), including 1 Grand Prize named Cricket Knight, equal prizes named Cricket Desire and a number of Awards from the Jury.

Over the past 5 seasons, 3 Cricket Knight Awards have been awarded to writers Nguyen Nhat Anh (2020), Tran Duc Tien (2023), Ly Lan (2024) along with 23 Cricket Aspiration Awards, 4 Awards given to domestic and foreign artists, including 7 child authors.
The 6th season of 2025 reviewed and evaluated 97 outstanding works composed and completed in 2024 - 2025, submitted directly by authors and nominated by publishers and collaborators.
After 2 rounds of judging, the jury selected the top 10 works and a group of excellent works for the final round. These include 1 comic book collection, 1 music collection, 1 painting collection, 2 poetry collections and 6 prose works.

Specifically, the top 10 works are “Back to the countryside – Children's nursery rhymes” - a multimedia music collection by Pham Tuyen - Pham Hong Tuyen, University of Education Publishing House; “120 years of wandering of the Greek gray-black turtle” - a novel manuscript by Dang Chuong Ngan; “A oi” - a poetry collection manuscript by Vu Thi Thanh Tam, illustrated by Windy Truc Hoang; a set of 14 paintings by child artist Pham Hai Nguyen (13 years old), “There is a flat Earth in my eyes” - a poetry collection manuscript by Ly Thang Long; “The Adventures of Captain Sinbad: The Great War of the Mermaid” - a comic by artist Quang Thao and Comicola Studio, Dan Tri Publishing House; “The ancient book of a goddess” - a story by Nguyen Hoang Dieu Thuy, Kim Dong Publishing House; Two books by Dy Duyen “From the vegetable fields on the Cuc Cu farm” (drawn by Dom Dom) and “The things you use to fill a hole” (drawn by Thanh Vu) - Kim Dong Publishing House; “Train Track Residential Area” - short story by Dang Ngoc Hung, Tre Publishing House; “Farm at the End of the Forest” - short story by Pham Cong Luan, Kim Dong Publishing House.


From the top 10, the Jury will select 1 Cricket Knight Award (if any) and Cricket Aspiration Awards. The Cricket Children's Award Ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 1 in Hanoi .
This year, musician Nguyen Van Chung became the inspirational ambassador of the De Men Children's Awards.
