On the morning of November 5, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Youth Union and the VIFOTEC Fund held the opening round of the final round of the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2025 at Nha Trang University (Khanh Hoa).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Khong Trung Thang, Chairman of the Council of Nha Trang University, shared: "This is an important event for the Vietnamese student academic community, a festival to honor intelligence, passion and creativity, gathering 125 outstanding research works from 58 higher education institutions across the country."

According to Mr. Vu Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information Technology, this year's science and technology award for students attracted 628 topics from 112 universities nationwide.
On September 20, the Ministry of Education and Training coordinated with Nha Trang University to organize a meeting of the Award Council to evaluate, select the consolation prize, third prize and select 125 excellent topics for the final round.
The topics are divided into 6 main research areas, including: Natural sciences; Engineering and technology; Medical and pharmaceutical sciences; Agricultural sciences; Social sciences and Humanities.
It is worth noting that many scientific research topics of students with good ideas have been supported by investors and created conditions to participate in cooperation with start-up businesses; many topics have had research results published in prestigious scientific journals at home and abroad.

Student Cao Tien Phuc from the National Economics University said that his group brought the topic "Factors affecting ESG investment intentions in the stock market: Research on Generation Z in Vietnam". This is a project that the group of 5 members with 2 instructors devoted their heart and soul to for nearly 2 years.
Dr. Khong Trung Thang emphasized that the awards at the competition not only encourage students to research, apply and transfer technology, but also contribute to shaping scientific culture in schools, fostering a spirit of dedication, honesty and thirst for knowledge.
"Over many years of organization, the award has discovered and nurtured thousands of young talents, many of whom have now become scientists, lecturers, engineers, and creative entrepreneurs," Mr. Thang affirmed.

According to the Organizing Committee, the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of Science and Technology for students in 2025 will take place on November 8 at Nha Trang University.
