Training class scene.
The training course was attended by 150 doctors and pharmacists from hospitals in the province.
The lecturer of the training course is Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Director of the National Center for Drug Information and Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring ( Hanoi University of Pharmacy), Deputy Head of Pharmacy Department, Bach Mai Hospital.
Pharmacists guide patients on how to use medication safely and effectively.
At the training course, trainees learned about antibiotic management in clinical practice, thereby raising awareness about the role and effectiveness of antibiotics in treating infectious diseases in clinical practice; ensuring safety, minimizing adverse events for patients; reducing the possibility of antibiotic resistance in pathogenic microorganisms; reducing treatment costs without affecting the quality of treatment; promoting the rational and safe use of antibiotics in clinical practice.
The discovery of antibiotics marked a new era in medicine for the treatment of infectious diseases, saving millions of lives from dangerous infectious diseases.
However, due to widespread, prolonged and inappropriate use and abuse, antibiotic resistance in microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, ...) is increasing.
The level of drug resistance is increasingly serious, affecting the effectiveness of treatment, poor prognosis, high risk of death, prolonged treatment time, increased treatment costs, affecting the health of patients and the community.
