Total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 36,856 billion, up 39% over the same period in 2023, reaching 97.8% of the 9-month growth scenario.

The good news is that out of 15.6 million visitors, there were nearly 2.6 million international tourists, mainly from markets such as: China, Korea, Taiwan, USA, India, France, Australia, UK, Germany, Japan.

In the first 9 months of the year, Quang Ninh province continued to implement many solutions and programs to bring four-season tourism experiences; affirming a year-round, unmissable destination for domestic and international tourists; focusing on developing tourism products associated with the distinct values ​​of Quang Ninh tourism such as: Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Yen Tu National Special Relic Site.

In particular, during the Lunar New Year, the number of visitors increased strongly compared to the same period in 2023. The province has focused on implementing 62 new tourism products into operation in 2024 such as: Organizing the Ha Long Carnival Festival 2024; Lighthouse Entertainment Complex (including cuisine , experiences, art performance services); high-class cruise services (Grand Pioneers 2 cruise), high quality put into operation connecting Ha Long Bay - Bai Tu Long Bay (tour: "Heritage Journey", sea and islandtourism ); opening of Wyndham Garden Sonasea Resort in Sonasea Van Don Harbor City Complex;... At the same time, continue to promote the effectiveness of Ha Long International Passenger Port, thereby attracting more international visitors to Ha Long Bay as well as Quang Ninh province.

Some accommodation and tourism establishments have resumed operations and welcomed tourists. Ha Long Bay has welcomed many groups of visitors. From September 8 to 16, nearly 14,500 international tourists and 3,450 domestic tourists stayed in Quang Ninh. The total number of tourists visiting Ha Long Bay was 18,862; the number of guests staying in the bay was 4,169.
