National Economics University drops some groups
In 2025, the National Economics University plans to maintain three stable admission methods, including: direct admission (2%); combined admission (83%) and admission based on high school graduation exam results (15%).
With the method of using the 2025 high school graduation exam results, the National Economics University will only use 4 combinations: A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English) and D07 (math, chemistry, English) instead of 9 combinations like in 2024.
According to the school, in 2025, the National Economics University will reduce the admission quota based on high school graduation exam scores from 18% to 15% and will not consider admission combinations B00, C03, C04, D09, D10.
The school has included this 3% quota in its own admission method according to the school's project from 80% in 2024 to 83% in 2025.

Speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Vice Principal of Hanoi University said that in the past 10 years, the school has always maintained 3 stable admission methods including: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, combined admission and admission by high school graduation exam scores.
The school's viewpoint will try to maintain these 3 methods. If there are any changes, each method will have additional or reduced criteria.

University of Commerce plans to reduce admission quotas based on high school graduation exam scores in 2025.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine

The new point is that the school uses 4 subject combinations for admission applicable to all majors/specializations, all admission methods, including: math - English - literature, math - English - physics, math - English - information technology, math - English - economic and legal education.
Thus, the school plans to remove the two combinations of math - physics - chemistry (A00) and math - English - chemistry (D07), replacing them with new combinations including: math - English - information technology; math - English - economic and legal education.
