This morning, June 12, the Standing Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to organize the launch ceremony of the 2024 "Semester in the Army" Program.

The purpose of the program is to equip youth union members with national defense knowledge; educate citizens on awareness, responsibility and obligations towards the task of building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, improve physical fitness and spirit of solidarity, living with love, affection and helping each other.
During the 10-day period, 172 students will be exposed to meaningful and useful content such as: education on love for the homeland, country, national pride; traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; discipline, living environment in the army. At the same time, they will also participate in extracurricular activities, life skills education, behavioral skills and cultural and artistic exchanges, physical education and sports .

The program "Semester in the Army" is a useful playground, bringing many interesting experiences, a good environment for children to be nurtured, trained, challenged during the summer, contributing to forming a beautiful lifestyle, living with love, affection, responsibility for themselves, their families and society.
The 2024 “Military Semester” program has been researched and arranged by the organizing committee to ensure scientific and reasonable content and form, with connectivity and chaining of events and activities. The training stages are divided reasonably, thereby helping students have meaningful experiences.
It is known that after 8 times of organization, the program has attracted more than 1,000 students to participate.
