Speaking at the opening of the training course, Deputy Director of Lao Cai Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs Pham Nam Hong emphasized that in the context of increasingly deep international integration, equipping staff with foreign affairs knowledge and skills is an urgent requirement, contributing to improving the quality and professionalism of local foreign affairs work.

At the training course, the trainees were informed and updated by Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Dinh Quy, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , former Director of the Diplomatic Academy, former Head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the United Nations about the current world and regional situation and Vietnam's foreign relations.
In addition, trainees are also taught practical contents such as: receiving non-refundable aid and managing the activities of NGOs; organizing international conferences and seminars; skills in organizing foreign affairs events and foreign affairs reception services at the local level.
Taking place over 2 days (October 23-24), the training course not only raised awareness of the role and significance of foreign affairs and international integration but also standardized organizational skills and foreign affairs protocol, contributing to creating a good image and enhancing the position of Lao Cai province in international cooperation and exchange.
