"Opening" cherry blossom Kachiusa version
"Going Up" from Meet at the Weekend , the show Meet at the End of the Year has comedians ready to sing to make the audience laugh. In the first episode in 2003, there were two types of funny parodies.
The first type is when the comedians both perform funny actions and sing a complete song, only parodying 1-2 lines. Among them, Xuan Bac - Tu Long became two reluctant singers singing the song "Ngau hung ngua o" . Of course, the musical quality of the performance was only average. However, the expressions of pretending to ride horses, the neighing and chasing of the pair of actors were very funny. The song was sung incorrectly with the line "Ngua anh dap ass nang" but the effect of this line was not as high as the two actors' jubilant horse riding.
Tu Long - Xuan Bac composed exactly 1 line in the Improvisation of the Dark Horse
The second type is to parody the entire song with the important melody. In the 2003 issue, Quoc Truong - Van Dung - Quang Thang sang the Kachiusa parody on this background. Kachiusa is a familiar song to those who lived through the subsidy period. This gift from Russian culture appeared from the first issue of Meeting at the end of the year through the performance of Quoc Truong - Van Dung - Quang Thang. In it, Van Dung - Quang Thang wore Russian costumes, danced and sang. The parody song has the line: "The peach blossoms have just bloomed, people call it peach blossoms. The bridge has just been built, people call it a bridge...".
In 2003, the version "Dao Mai Hoa, Nguoi Tac Doi La Hoa Dao" was sung in many places, with many different versions. These versions were often sung in parties with friends. The appearance on Gap Nhau Cuoi Nam marked the appearance of a product with a strong folk cultural imprint on television. In addition, it is also a derivative work with new lyrics. According to current copyright law, to create new lyrics and perform like that, it is necessary to ask for permission and pay royalties. However, it was not until 2004 that Vietnam joined the Berne Convention on Intellectual Property. Therefore, legal issues such as asking for permission and paying royalties have not been raised.
"Ordered goods" and Apple Music parody
The use of parody music continued in the following Gap nhau cuoi nam issues. Over time, the parody music creations became longer in duration and more complete in content. The completeness of content was placed in relation to the entire program, the entire "hot" issue that the program wanted to convey.
One of the "10 points without but" parody songs is the parody of the song From a crossroads in Tao Quan - Meeting at the end of the year 2009. This song was parodied as Flood from a crossroads to reflect a year with terrible floods that lasted for a long time, forcing families to hoard consumer goods. The familiar music, the lyrics that hide the mockery, were sung by the Taos in a cheerful, light-hearted manner. Also in this 2009 program, there was a parody of the song Hanoi in the season of no rains with the same theme of flooding, and Tu Long played the role of Tao Thoat Nuoc in the program.
Tu Long deserves the title "Music Tao Che"
The song opens with a sharing of the experience of flooding: "Thanks to the rain that never stops. My street is flooded. When people and vehicles rush to swim on the street at rush hour. Seeing the whole population swimming is like a competition...". Then, the flooding develops into a "consequence": "The whole street is flooded with boats and canoes gliding peacefully. We don't have to worry about power outages for days and nights with oil lamps."
The song also mentions the fact that people stock up on food in their refrigerators to help supermarkets make a big profit: "The radio forecast that in the next 3 days, there will be rain falling everywhere, causing many people to look up at the clouds and wait, but why is the sun shining brightly behind the trees? Because the forecast was wrong, it increased profits for supermarkets, thinking it would rain heavily, people stocked up on more food..." A parody song with lyrics that are developed in a layered, climaxing way, and balanced between criticism and optimism.
These songs were then separated into "singles" or collected online for viewers to find easily. On VTV24's YouTube channel, there are immortal Tao Quan parody clips introducing interesting songs from the program. It can be seen that to have such musical parts that match the dialogue and the reflected topics, these parody songs were carefully "ordered" by skilled "artisans".
The songs chosen for parody are all songs with familiar melodies, known by many people. There are songs that have passed through many generations such as From a crossroads, I am the driver, Money (ABBA)... There are new hits such as Ngo deserted noisily, Uoc gi, Trai tim khong ngu yen ... The parody music can be a complete song, or can become a part of the dialogue between the characters of Tao Quan . Traditional music melodies are also included in writing new lyrics to sing in Tao Quan . One of those times, Bac Dau sang: "Mot em nho khong de con tam, hai em nho dat vong..." with the Quan ho melody Muoi nho .
After 20 years of tirelessly performing parody music, Tu Long can proudly become the Tao Quan who sings parody music best, most flexibly, and can handle the most musical genres. Tu Long can be considered the "Tao Nhac Che". This Tao Quan plays every role well, but is not stuck with any role because he is constantly "transferred" to work. In return, Tu Long sings very well and takes on many, difficult singing parts, enough to become the "Tao Nhac Che".
Looking back at 20 years of Tao Quan , we can see that the golden generation of Tao Quan actors includes the following names: Quoc Khanh, Cong Ly, Xuan Bac, Chi Trung, Tu Long, Quang Thang, Van Dung, Minh Hang. Among them, there are people who have been present from the beginning to the end such as Cong Ly, Xuan Bac, Tu Long, Quang Thang, Van Dung. They are the people who have participated in Tao Quan the most.
Since appearing as the Jade Emperor, artist Quoc Khanh has never been absent from a number of Tao Quan - Meet at the end of the year shows, but the first role of the Jade Emperor did not belong to him. The first person to play the Jade Emperor was artist Quoc Truong.
There are also many famous comedians participating in the program but they do not have the same experience with the Year-end Meeting as the Golden Generation Tao Quan group above. They are Bao Quoc, Hong Van, Viet Huong, Minh Nhi, Anh Vu in the South. In the North, they are artists Quoc Truong, Minh Vuong, Van Hiep, Thanh Trung, Hiep Ga.
