30,000 audiences sang the National Anthem in the program "Proud to be Vietnamese"

The moment when nearly 30,000 spectators sang “Tien Quan Ca” together in the program “Proud to be Vietnamese” was an emotional highlight, spreading pride and a strong spirit of national solidarity.

On the evening of August 17, the special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" took place at My Dinh National Stadium Square ( Hanoi ), connecting more than 30,000 live audiences with millions of Vietnamese people at home and abroad watching on television and digital platforms.

The program is chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and Netmedia Joint Stock Company, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the program were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of ministries, central departments and branches and Hanoi city, intellectuals, artists, overseas Vietnamese, representatives of the young generation and nearly 30,000 spectators at My Dinh Square, Hanoi capital, along with millions of viewers watching live on Vietnam Television.

The special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" is organized to contribute to honoring the glorious history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, arousing deep gratitude to the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and generations of senior leaders, compatriots and soldiers nationwide who sacrificed their blood for national independence and unification; widely spreading the solidarity of the Vietnamese people across the country and overseas Vietnamese, thereby strengthening the belief, spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, aspiration to contribute and determination to build a rich and powerful Vietnam.

“Proud to be Vietnamese” is staged in 3 chapters “Origin - Calling Vietnam by name,” “One Vietnam - Million hearts,” “Proud to be Vietnamese” on a 360-degree stage design, inspired by the legend of Lang Lieu, combining the images of heaven and earth.

The program takes the audience on an emotional journey, recreating the golden pages of history from the time of the Hung Kings who founded the country, the victories against foreign invaders until the light of revolution illuminated the way for the nation, the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 1930, the August Revolution broke out, Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945 and 80 heroic years through music, images and light.

Throughout the program, through the unique and elaborately staged artistic performances, the audience lived and felt the pride in the thousands of years of history of building and defending the country; in the love for the homeland and country woven by the blood and sweat of generations of fathers and brothers.

In the program, traditional and modern musical works depicting the beauty of Vietnam's land and people, arousing national pride... were performed with emotion, leaving a deep impression on the audience.

In particular, the song “Tien Quan Ca” - the National Anthem with nearly 30,000 audiences turning towards the national flag, singing along with singer Tung Duong and a 200-member choir, became one of the majestic and proud moments marking the program.

In addition, many art performances were elaborately staged, such as "You are Ho Chi Minh" (Anh Tu), "Praise the Fatherland" (Hoang Van), "Vietnam's Posture" (poem by Le Anh Xuan, music by Nguyen Chi Vu), "Aspiration" (Pham Minh Tuan), "Homeland" (Giap Van Thach), "Northwest Love Song" (Bui Duc Hanh), "Highland Flame" (Y Garia), "Hello Vietnam" (Marc Lavoine), "North Central South One House" (Vietnamese Folk Songs), "Love of the Country" (Pham Viet Tuan), "Road to Glorious Days" (Tran Lap), "Holding Hands Together" (Trinh Cong Son)... bringing the audience a feast of eye-catching art, full of emotions.

The participation of famous artists such as Buc Tuong Band, Duong Tran Nghia, Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Duong Hoang Yen, Lam Bao Ngoc, Ha An Huy, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Pham Thu Ha, Le Anh Dung, Huyen Trang, Lam Phuc, Oplus Group, Mai Trang, Tien Hung, Tieu Minh Phung, RamC, Dynamic Choir, Little Star Club... along with the participation of 500 artists and dancers took the audience on an exciting artistic journey, arousing the desire for national pride.

Elaborate live performances with vivid 3D mapping effects, top-notch sound, light and visual systems, combining traditional and modern musical works, bring a satisfying, sublime experience between artists and audiences.

“Proud to be Vietnamese” is not only a simple artistic event but also an activity with profound political and ideological significance, contributing to spreading cultural, historical and moral values of “When drinking water, remember its source” among all classes of people, especially the young generation.

The program has become a bridge connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts, inspiring patriotism, national pride and solidarity in every Vietnamese person./.
