4 hours of effort to control the fire at the wood factory in Dam Rong 1

On the morning of October 2, the leader of Dam Rong 1 commune (Lam Dong) said that the authorities had just successfully controlled a fire that broke out in the area, causing an estimated damage of about 1.5 billion VND.

Chairman of Dam Rong 1 Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Thanh said the fire broke out at Loc Phat Company Limited (specializing in purchasing and processing wood) at 6:00 p.m. on October 1.

Upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, Lam Dong Police dispatched 2 specialized vehicles (Duc Trong area) to the scene, along with 30 people from the force in Dam Rong 1 commune to carry out fire fighting work. By 24:00 on the same evening, the fire was basically under control.

Fire burned down wood processing facility, estimated damage of 1.5 billion VND

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, the initial estimated damage to the factory and finished wood products burned was about 1.5 billion VND. The official cause of the fire is being clarified by the authorities.
