5 players absent from the last training session of the Vietnam team

The last training session of the Vietnam team on the morning of June 5 only had 18 players, some key players recovered separately at the hotel.

On the morning of June 5, the Vietnamese team had their last training session before traveling to Malaysia to prepare for the match against the host team on June 10. However, coach Kim Sang-sik did not have his full squad for this training session, with only 18 out of 23 players taking to the field. The five absent players were Tien Dung, Duc Chien, Hoang Duc, Quoc Viet and Ly Duc.

Among the absent players, Tien Dung, Hoang Duc and Duc Chien were given light rehabilitation exercises at the hotel. Coach Kim Sang-sik wanted the players to ensure their physical condition after the internal match with U22 Vietnam yesterday afternoon.

Quoc Viet and Ly Duc were named in the starting lineup of U22 Vietnam in yesterday's internal match. It is likely that this duo will continue to live and practice with the U22 Vietnam team in this afternoon's practice session. The coordination of forces between the two teams shows that coach Kim Sang-sik is carefully considering before finalizing the list to go to Malaysia.

In the internal practice match, the Vietnamese team won 2-1 against U22 Vietnam thanks to goals from Hai Long and Duy Manh. The match was divided into 3 halves, each lasting 30 minutes, to create conditions for all players to perform on the field.

According to the plan, on the morning of June 6, the whole team will move to Malaysia. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team have about 4 days to perfect their tactics and get used to the climate and field before entering the official match.
