5 airports in the Central region temporarily stop receiving aircraft from the afternoon of November 6

Five airports in the Central region will temporarily close and stop providing services from this afternoon to ensure safety when storm Kalmaegi makes landfall.

Due to the complicated developments of storm Kalmaegi (storm No. 13), 5 airports in the Central region will temporarily close and stop providing services from the afternoon of November 6, 2025 to ensure safety when storm Kalmaegi makes landfall.

5 airports include Buon Ma Thuot Airport (Dak Lak), Pleiku Airport (Gia Lai), Tuy Hoa Airport (Dak Lak), Chu Lai Airport ( Da Nang City) and Phu Cat Airport (Gia Lai).

Along with temporarily suspending aircraft reception at the above 5 airports, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam also requested domestic flight management units and airlines to adjust flight schedules and rearrange operation plans in accordance with weather conditions and developments of storm Kalmaegi.
